This place

Sometimes I forget why this is a bad place. This is where progress happens, and this is where you relate to. Why is this a bad place? Can it be argued that social progress is detrimental to this place, or is it only because many are left behind by that progress. Can it be argued that social nets will only serve as social hammocks, or is it only because people think chance favored them because they are superior and they don't want to help others?

The only two schools of thought for a government are fundamentally flawed, each camp having the "pollutants" of the other. Capitalism always needs to keep the lowest echelons in check, and socialism needs to keep the upper in check.

On a smaller ecosystem, most parents force their beliefs on their children. Most parents only had kids for that sole purpose. For self affirmation. They usually succeed, except in some readers.

As we keep discovering, the same stories are being told and retold, with different scenarios and magnitude.

I do not want any part in prolonging the longevity of this species. Sometimes I forget why this is a bad place.

Dunning Kruger effect

After so many years, I think I understand. Wherever we are on the curve, we will always have a different perspective on what is happening. As everyone is different, so are the length of our fingers. Please be well. And happiness will follow, as excellence precedes success.
